Frequently Asked Questions
This depends on a number of factors:
- the size and depth of area being excavated (i.e. trench or preparation for a concrete pad)
- The soil/rock content of area being excavated (i.e. requires different attachments)
- Access to the area requring excavation
- Whether the excavated earth/concrete or debris needs to removed from site
- Any further levelling required
Also, if the client has contacted Dial Before You Dig to locate all utilities surrounding the property and also located their own sewer/mains line if excavating is required in the general vicinity.
If any of these factors are not addressed, anomalies occur which means it takes longer then what was initially anticipated. Typically though, if all the above-mentioned is addressed, then as an example - a simple trench for a sewer can take 1/2 a day.
Can you confirm that your equipment can fit through limited access?Yes, we specialise in tight access areas! Our equipment at a meter and a half wide can access most areas that are 1.6 m upwards
